Mission Statement

LIFEWORKS is a volunteer group founded in June 2005 by graduates of Montgomery Co. Adult Drug Treatment Court, so that they may continue their involvement with the community through various activities which increase awareness of recovery and reduce the stigma related to addiction disease. It's members are comprised of graduates & latter stage participants of the Treatment Court, along with like minded community members supportive of recovery.   Members speak at special functions, mentor newer members, and expand the connections between the recovering community, area leaders, business's, and elected officials. It is an extension of fellowship for those who have participated in the Treatment Court Program and others who wish to help make Montgomery County a healthier, safer place to live.

 

Who is eligible?

Phase 3, 4, and 5 participants of the Montgomery County Drug Court, and the Montgomery Co. Family Treatment Court, all graduates and any community members interested in promoting recovery activities, increase awareness and reduce stigma.
